Who We Are & What We Do
Mike Tison, the owner of Comfort Experts Heating & Cooling is living his dream—not just of owning his own business, but of servicing his community with his advanced HVAC knowledge and expertise. With a degree in residential and commercial HVAC and over 10 years of work experience in the central heating and cooling industry, Mike is a highly qualified and skilled South Carolina licensed HVAC contractor. His hard work and dedication earned him an honors degree and the privilege of being one of the first NATE certified heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration technicians in his class. He continues to make his education a priority by receiving training on advanced heating and cooling technological systems.
Company History
Because Mike was trained as a young boy by family members, you could say that heating and air conditioning is in his blood. As Mike continued in his career, he chose to work for more advanced companies that used him to operate specialized equipment, assist in construction and service as the lead technician at Aloft Hotel, Apex Athletic Performance (Palmetto USC Orthopedic) and many prominent Lake Murray homes.
Through the great support system of his wife and two growing children, Mike contributes his time and efforts to the community. He enjoys coaching his son, Dawson’s team while his wife, Alex, and daughter, Anna cheer them on from the sidelines. It is through this outreach and others that he has made friends who eventually became part of his growing business—one satisfied customer at a time.

Mike’s aim is to support his family, serve the community, and build his HVAC company one handshake at a time. Sadly, today, a handshake doesn’t mean much to most, but to Mike, it means everything. When he shakes your hand, he wants you to know that he is dedicated to doing his job of providing indoor comfort to the very best of his ability, at a fair price and with the utmost integrity. Mike is dedicated to the principles of old-fashioned quality, service, and value while delivering the latest in products and technology. His chief goal is to deliver faster and better heating and cooling services at a better value than any other company; this is how he intends to keep your business for a lifetime!
